RESEARCH AT THE CENTER FOR BRAIN AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES(CBLS)

The research at CBLS focuses on the multidisciplinary research of learning and memory and its implications.

Beyond discovering the fundamental neural mechanisms that support effective memory encoding, consolidation and retrieval, we are particularly thrilled to explore innovative brain-based approaches that can improve human learning efficiency, by combining genetic, behavioral, functional imaging, computational modeling, machine learning, brain-computer interface and noninvasive brain stimulation techniques. In particular, the CBLS is conducting cutting-edge research in the following areas:

1、The Neural Mechanisms of Effective Learning

2、Cognitive Control, Decision Making and Learning

3、Individual Differences in Learning

4、Brain-based Learning Facilitation

5、Native and Second Language Learning
