Personal Statement
I am a graduate student in the National Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University. My major in college is psychology and I have great interest in cognitive neuroscience especially human memory. My interest in memory arose from the diversity of phenomenon in human memory system such as testing effect, spacing effect. In my personal view, understanding and then cracking the algorithms underlies the memory system is a hard but rewarding adventure. Currently I am running two projects: one aims to understand the neural mechanism of false memory in global matching framework and another focuses on how testing enhances our memory performance. I mainly use functional MRI technique in my research and apply MVPA and complex model on neural imaging data. In the daily life, I am quite a geek and like all the staffs about computer, technology and science frontiers.
