Personal Statement
Now, I am a second-year graduate student in the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University. I received my B.S. in psychology from School of Psychology, BNU.
When I first exposure neuroscience, I experienced the charm of it. When facing the same scene, why do people behave differently? How does human experience affect subsequent behavior? Memory is an interesting pointcut for studying human. There is not only a person’s past in memory, but also the future. People rely on experience to make decisions and judgments.
At present, I want to explore the neural mechanism of memory enhancement and decay by using functional MRI technique. If my future research could help the special group such as Post-traumatic stress disorder, I would be very honored.
